ABOUT ME。。。

Let me introduce myself and briefly about my personal background. My name is Choy Chiau Wei and I’m from Tampin, Negeri Sembilan. However, my hometown is Kampar, Perak. I have three siblings-one eldest sister who worked as a nurse, two younger sisters who still in school-age and we living happily with my both parents. Currently, I was taking course of Bachelor Degree of Psychology (Industrial and Organizational Psychology) in University Technology of Malaysia, Skudai, Johor. I’m final year student who in the last semester taking the subject of Human Resource Information System (HRIS) with the code subject- SHP 3423.

            In these three year of degree life, most of my subjects taken or scope studied were more on psychological field, such as development psychology and cognitive psychology, but some subjects will related to or touching a bit field of human resource, for example training and development and organization development. However, I could not adapt myself and found it tough and challengeable more than I could image toward this new subject, new knowledge. Nevertheless, I was tried to get exposure regarding this course which in today technology advance world, I believe I can gain more knowledge and skill, learn more about this new knowledge and used for my future career. It was beneficial too, I indeed wonder.

            From my point of view, HRIS is taught about how to function a system by using technology which dealing with the matter of human resource. In today advance technology world, most of the large companies or organizations, either small entrepreneur were started changing the manual processes, for example hardcopy in recording the applicant’s information or resume while in recruited and selected potential employees into technology system which using E-recruitment system nowadays. Company or organization which using HRIS will be able to compete in the competitive business market.
